It happened just after 7 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 2 in Hicksville.
According to Nassau County Police detectives, a 35-year-old male driver was stopped and sitting in his truck waiting to make a delivery at the rear of Stop & Shop located at 530 West Old Country Road.
The victim was approached by an unknown male suspect displaying a black handgun who ordered him out of the truck and to empty his pockets, according to police.
The suspect was handed two cell phones from the victim. The suspect then fled on foot east on Duffy Avenue.
The suspect is described as being black with a thin build, black hooded clothing and ski mask.
There were no injuries reported.
